We use Google Groups as an email distribution list to notify HOA members of important messages about the neighborhood, the homeowners association, and other updates from the HOA board. You may request access to join at http://groups.google.com/group/rainbowlakes3/subscribe.
This does not require a Google account and will work any email address. However, if you do have the former, there is increased functionality when using Google Groups, like the ability to review any emails that have been sent to the distribution list in the past.
